Monitor compatibility. The live camera feed runs over a standard coax cable with a BNC connector, so it works with any security monitor or TV that has a BNC or composite (RCA) video input. If you ever need to replace or upgrade the included monitor, choose a 12V or AC-powered security monitor with a BNC video input and VESA mounting holes, such as the 101AV 18.5″ Security Monitor (model MT-G4K185-3). No DVR, converter, or special adapter is required.
